In our system likes of Shibbu Soren can become hon'ble ministers. Phoolan Devi can be elected Member Parliament. And countless representatives facing serious criminal proceedings are being elected to the State Assemblies and Parliament. Then why this ho-ha against the sons and daughters of the politicians who have been given tickets to fight assembly elections ? May be this is the definition of a vibrant, mature and tolerant democracy as we have.
